Our Story

Ever have one of those moments where it just seems like something is right? Even though it defies everything you thought you stood for, and causes you to go against the grain? That’s our story. For two years we were in rooms together occasionally passing each other by, and never truly noticing one another. It was probably because God knew we weren’t ready to be together.

Then in January 2007, we met (truly met) for the first time. Anointed To Dance was the catalyst for our connection. Shout out to Winter for making the love connection unintentionally. I (Ronaldo) saw Cristian through a different set of eyes the first day I walked into their dance practice to drop my sister off. I told my siblings I was going to marry her. I (Cristian) had no idea that day that we would be married, but shortly after a conversation with his sister made me re-evaluate my current relationship, and ultimately, I ended it because I knew it was leading me nowhere.

In February of 2007, we started conversing on the phone. We went on our first date in March, and by April, we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I (Ronaldo) met Cristian’s dad for the first time to ask if I could marry her. I don’t advise that for everyone. This was our story. Lol! In June of 2007 we got engaged, and on December 15, 2007, we got married.

Now, more than 10 years later, we have four children, thriving careers, and we even Pastor a church together. Our life is not perfect, but it’s perfect for us. We hope coming into our world will offer you hope, inspiration, laughs, and lessons that will propel you.
